Off Piste, am I covered?
This is one of the most common questions we are asked and it needs a degree of clarification.
Under our policies you can ski and snowboard anywhere within ski resort boundaries provided they are considered safe by the ski resort management.
This means you can ski and snowboard "anywhere". Be it a pisted run or up to your neck in snow as long as the run is open and considered safe your OK. If the runs or area has been shut because of a risk of avalanche or because of low visibility or high winds then you are considered to be skiing and snowboarding against the resort guidelines and if you had an accident your claim could be declined.
If you are sking and snowboarding off piste in areas which are not accessed by lifts or by using a ski pass then you need to speak to us first on 0844 249 9280. We do have policies for back country activities but you will have to pay an additional premium based on the higher risk and higher potential rescue costs.
If your not planning anything hairy then use the booking engine above and choose a policy from those considered suitable for your needs. Dont worry they all cover skiing and snowboarding, on and off pistes in areas within resort boundaries considered safe by resort management.
